We're Back!

Jason, Jason's mom and sister, me and Gabe all went to San Diego to visit my family (Grandparents and Aunt's and Uncle). Since Jason is in the Navy we were able to go to Sea World for free (thank goodness)! It was so fun and Gabe had a blast. We got to the park at 9:30 in the morning and didn't get done until 9 at night! Gabe slept maybe 40 minutes the whole time we were there, but he was so good! He loved sitting by the glass at the aquariums while trying to catch fish through the glass. And he liked the dolphin show a ton because every time the dolphins jumped in the air they let out a squeak and Gabe would look to where the sound came from and laugh as the dolphins did their tricks (we figure he speaks porpoise because he sounds exactly like them when he squeals). We would clap his hands for him during the shows, and when we got back home he started clapping all by himself, it is pretty cute! The next day we went to the Zoo, Gabe didn't have as much fun there but he did awesome! He maybe slept an hour the whole day again, but he still had fun. He rode the carousel by the zoo and liked to talk to the animals. The next day we went to the beach. He loved the waves, except when he got tired. He would grab on to my hands and walk towards the water. He is trying so hard to be able to pull himself up all by himself, and is almost there, and he loves to walk while we hold his hands. He army crawls everywhere and rolls and scoots. He jabbers up a storm and last month started saying mama, dada, and gma. He must like to grow when we travel because while we got back from Spokane last month, he cut his first tooth, and on the way back from San Diego he cut his second tooth! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for letting us stay with you and visit!! Well, now that we're back from vacation it's back to the grindstone. School starts up in two weeks, and unfortunately I have to find a babysitter on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's going to be so hard to leave him with someone else, I have a hard enough time leaving him with family for a few hours!! We'll adjust, I'm sure, but it will be difficult. Jason and I are still working at a nursing home as nurse's assistants and donating plasma when we can for some extra cash. Jason works nights and I work 12-16 hours on Saturdays while I'm in the program (thank heaven for financial aid). I only have a year left so I am pretty excited about that. Jason is going back into music education and has a few years left so that's not to exciting, but I'm happy he's doing something that he enjoys and is really great at! We might move back to WA when I graduate because pay is a ton better than here, but it depends on where I can get a job and how the economy is doing, because we'd have to sell our house. Here in Pocatello, the market is still pretty strong, it has slowed down a little, but it's still okay. WE ARE GETTING A COSTCO!!!! It's almost done, so Poky will be tolerable if we need to stay! Well, here are some pictures of our trip, I hope you like them!!
